 red dress lady-she is a German wealthy woman in her mid 30's. her husband has been murdered and she is a suspect. she is utterly traumatized by this, or she is just acting. her name is scarlet vonschtopple.

 

Johnny 'iron sides' mgee (investigator next to scarlet)- johhny is a rookie investigator who has been put to work with one named William isenburg. hes a rough man who makes his own rules. and a grade a risk taker

 

Nathan huckleberry- he is a skittish man know to take residence in the room above his bar. he's not one to commit crimes but the interrogation happens to take place in his shop.

 

William isenburg is the veteran investigator in his early 50's. he doesn't think that his partner has what it takes to keep crime off of the streets but he is slowly coming to respect him.

 

 I don't see why I would have done it. I loved him and he loved me. now if I could just enjoy this cigar in peace.
